Problem
Field2Base, a mobile forms software company in Morrisville, North Carolina, approached John about creating a fully functional ROI Calculator for their sales team to use as a follow up tool when prospecting. They also wanted to be able to have the results be hidden behind a form capture which would automatically be populated into their Hubspot CRM tool. A printable PDF was also requested for the sales reps to send the results to the prospects with little effort. Finally, there was a tight deadline to meet in order to have the calculator available before a trade show they were attending in only two weeks!
Solution
John was able to take the simple excel spreadsheet created by Field2Base and create a simple, yet functional, calculator in less than a week. He shared this with the Field2Base team BEFORE he handed the calculator to a colleague designer to make sure the calculations were correct. Once the designers made everything “look pretty” John then went to work on integrating the calculator results into the Hubspot CRM using their API. The last task was creating a visually appealing and practical PDF document that was also automatically populated into the Hubspot CRM, making it easy for the sales team to send these results within minutes.
Results
Field2Base saw tremendous results and positive feedback from customers and prospects alike. The sales team was also delighted to have this powerful tool to share. The integration into Hubspot went very smoothly as well. Overall, this was a challenging project that had to meet a tight deadline, but John was able to work closely with the client and get the job done quickly, but effectively.
